The Chemical Safety Awareness e-learning course includes:

1. Introduction to Chemical Safety – Overview of chemical hazards and the importance of chemical safety in the workplace.
2. Hazard Identification – Understanding physical, health, and environmental hazards associated with chemicals.
3. Labelling and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) – Learning to interpret hazard symbols, labels, and SDS for safe handling information.
4. Control Measures – Implementing practical measures to minimise chemical exposure, including proper storage, ventilation, and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
5. Emergency Procedures – Preparing for chemical spills, exposure incidents, and emergency response protocols.

The e-learning module is self-paced, allowing learners to complete it at their own convenience. The course typically takes 1-2 hours to finish.

Participants are assessed through interactive quizzes and a final online test. Upon successful completion, learners will receive a Chemical Safety Awareness Certificate of Completion, recognised as meeting basic chemical safety training requirements.
