Emer, a seasoned professional with over 15 years of extensive experience in the training and safety industry, serves as the Director of Carraig Safety. Holding the esteemed qualification of an IRCA Auditor and possessing a Masters in Occupational Health and Safety, Emer is recognised as an expert in her field. Her dedication to advancing safety standards across diverse industries has been a driving force behind Carraig Safety's success.
With a particular passion for private education, Emer has played a pivotal role in securing accreditation from QQI and PHECC, further solidifying Carraig Safety's commitment to excellence.
Emer continues to develop and is currently finalising a MSc in Strategic Learning & Development.
Aideen Bright (Training Manager)
Aideen has seamlessly integrated into our close-knit professional family since joining us in 2018. Boasting a robust background in Manufacturing/Clean room operations, Aideen brings over 15 years of experience to her role. During this time, she acquired extensive expertise in chemical safety, earning a place on the Chemical Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T) and gaining proficiency in the use of Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA). Aideen's commitment to excellence was further demonstrated as she underwent leader training for a multinational company, subsequently assuming the role of Lead Safety and Quality Curator in her area. Her contributions extended to participation in the QA team and ISO Auditing and continues to develop undergoing a Level 8 program in Occupational Health and Safety
Since becoming a part of Carraig Safety, Aideen has exhibited enthusiasm across all facets of her work, whether it involves training or consultancy. Her multifaceted skill set and dedication make her a valuable asset to our team.
Nicola, who joined Carraig Safety in 2017, swiftly integrated into our dynamic work environment. With an impressive background encompassing over 20 years of bookkeeping experience, Nicola has successfully collaborated with a diverse array of companies, including those in construction, SMEs, and retail sectors. Her proficiency extends to various computer software programs, with particular expertise in Sage, QuickBooks, and all Microsoft Office products. Nicola's mastery of Microsoft's hidden functions often positions her as a knowledgeable resource within the office.
Marion Mullally (Office Administration/Internal Verification)
Marion has been an integral part of the Carraig Safety team since 2021, serving as the primary point of contact for our valued clients. With a dedicated focus on fulfilling customer needs, Marion brings a proactive and hands-on approach to her role, making her a valuable and essential team member.
On a daily basis, Marion plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operations of the business. Her responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including the coordination of course bookings, organisation and scheduling of instructors, and meticulous management of Quality Assurance processes for accreditations with QQI and PHECC (Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council). Marion's attention to detail and commitment to excellence contribute significantly to the smooth functioning of Carraig Safety.
