Risk Assessment Course

Risk and Safety Management play an important part in every business success.  Identifying the various types of risk and the implications that each might have on a company, as well as highlighting the business benefits that can be obtained through successful risk and safety management all need to be included in an overall company strategy.

The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007 place a much stronger emphasis on risk assessment as a core element of health and safety management.

This one-day course will be very beneficial to personnel in the company who are responsible for health and safety hazard and risk assessment.

Entry Requirements

English Proficiency:

  • To ensure the greatest opportunity for successful participation in our programmes, learners are required to have a good command of English in terms of reading, writing and speaking. This standard of proficiency is indicated by achieving or exceeding the standard of CEFR B2+Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) or standard of 6.0 on the IELTS.
  • Learners who have achieved a passing grade at Junior Certificate level will be deemed to meet this criterion. However, learners for whom English is not their first language, are required to advise Carraig Safety Consultants, and may be required
